TITLE Waiting
MEDIUM Pigment and Ink on paper
SIZE 16 x 41 cm
DESCRIPTION The local women in Tissardmine Morocco would wait every day perched on the fossil ridges while their husbands, brothers, and uncles would sit on their motor bikes on the highest nearby ridge waiting to see the dust of the 4WD's coming with tourists to see the fossils. When the 4WD's arrived, the women would quickly display their fossils, crystals and the like hoping for a sale. Those lucky enough to have a sale would see their male family member quickly come down after the 4WD's left for the money. They would then wait again.
