Paintings

As a mixed media acrylic-based artist, I love to combine differing mediums into my paintings.

Working with and in the landscape, I often find my tools in the landscape to make marks. As you will see I love colour and use it boldly in my works.

Turning the three-dimensional world into a two-dimension representation is one of the greatest challenges and rewards from painting. Coming from a very realistic and traditional training base I am slowly but surely moving away into more expressionistic and abstracted works which is where I am feeling far more comfortable.
