I pay my respects to their elders both past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Tasmanian Aboriginal peoples. While visiting Erg Chebbi, some of the largest sand dunes in the Saharan desert, a lone figure sat silently facing the dying sun, the wind whipping around them. They were motionless and still, creating a deep sense of tranquility and peace.
